Def Leppard brings decades of arena-ready rock to Pittsburgh alongside Goo Goo Dolls and The Struts. Formed in Sheffield, England, in 1977, the band became one of the best-selling rock acts in history, with more than 100 million records sold worldwide. Their catalogue spans landmark albums including Pyromania and Hysteria, with crowd favorites such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages” and “Love Bites.”
Def Leppard's history also reflects remarkable resilience. Drummer Rick Allen continued performing after losing an arm in a 1984 car accident, and the band's enduring career earned it induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. The group is known for energetic performances, expansive production and anthems that invite arena-wide singalongs. The listed lineup includes Goo Goo Dolls and The Struts; set times and performance details may be announced closer to the event.
On March 23, 2027, the event brings Concerts and Pop / rock to PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. The arena setting suits Def Leppard's big choruses and large-scale stage presentation. Prices currently start around $120, with major-event tickets potentially reaching $500 or more depending on availability, seat location and ticket type.
PPG Paints Arena is an indoor arena in downtown Pittsburgh, hosting major concerts and sporting events. For a rock show, the venue's mix of floor and elevated seating offers different ways to experience the performance. Floor seats can put fans closer to the stage, while lower-bowl seats provide a raised perspective that may make it easier to take in the full production.
When choosing seats, consider the balance between proximity and overall view: seats farther from the stage may offer a broader perspective on the lighting and video production, while floor sightlines can vary by position and crowd height. Check the event's seating map and ticket details before purchasing, as available sections and stage configuration can differ by show.
Parking availability and rates can vary by event, so review current details before driving. Downtown Pittsburgh has public garages and surface lots within reach of the arena, but traffic and demand may increase around concert start and end times.
